Initially introduced in 1968 and evolving over the years, the 421  has become a worthy contender amid the lot of pressurized twin engine aircraft available to the business community.

Solid, reliable, and comfortable are words that describe the 421 Golden Eagle. Able to cruise along well over 200 mph, the two 375 HP Continentals effortlessly whisk this classic beauty to a service ceiling of 30,200 ft and a range of up to 1040 nautical miles.
The 421C truly deserves to wear the fitting title "Golden Eagle"

Flight One's 421C Golden Eagle is modeled in vivid detail using only the newest design techniques and modeling tools available for 3rd party aircraft developed for Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2002. G-Max is the approved design tool by Microsoft and the 421 Golden Eagle sports many of the features that are offered by G-Max and Designer Roger Dial.

421 Golden Eagle Features:

Reflective Texture Mapping. The 421 fuselage and window textures provide reflective mapping like the default FS2002 aircraft. As you move, the textures reflect lighting, terrain and objects in the paint and window areas. The 421 is one of the most highly detailed aircraft available for Flight Simulator 2002 at this time. Master Designer Roger Dial has created a model that steps up to the plate and defines what detail is all about.
We dare say that you will be hard pressed to find another FS model with this level of detail and accuracy. That's a high claim, but we deliver.

The 421's flight dynamics have been carefully modeled with great accuracy by the artisan of FS flight modeling, Steve Small.
Steve has captured the feel and behavior of the 421 in one of his best efforts to date. Validated by 421 pilots, you can be assured of a realistic experience.

The 421 hosts many animated parts - rolling wheels - working suspension. Even the gear actuating arms slide in and out of the cylinders.
All control surfaces are animated and the cabin door opens and folds down the stairs! Even the landing lights and light beam move as you turn the aircraft whether inside or outside of the cockpit!

You wont find a more detailed virtual cockpit/cabin period. Whether you decide to sit in the cockpit or pan around and move to the back you can get a true perspective of what its like to fly or sit back in the cabin and enjoy the flight as you look out the side windows! The 421 Virtual Cabin also contains fully operating gauges, animated yoke and throttle quadrant.

The 421 Photo Real Panel contains all custom gauges created by gauge master Nick Jacobs. Many unique gauges are included such as a Fuel Totalizer, S-Tec 55 Auto-Pilot, and "Garmin style" audio panel, transponder and moving map GPS! The 421 also includes a unique cruise/landing view that can be toggled by clicking on the panel eyebrow allowing cruise and landing segments of the flight to appear more natural and provide a more realistic perspective.

Again none other than the best in FS design has been assigned to the 421 sound department. Mike Hambly. Mike has carefully blended and mixed the 421 sound set to provide a very realistic 421 twin sound set. This sound set provides a very "unique" experience when departing at full throttle in a way that truly captures what a twin sounds like coming out of the gate

Flight One Software is proud to offer this extremely detailed rendition of the Cessna 421C Golden Eagle and we guarantee you won't find a similar model with as much quality, detail and accuracy as the Flight 1 - 421 Golden Eagle!
